    • Grab a beer and come hang out with us as we celebrate the opening of Karneval. 
  • Crowning "A Royal Event"
    • Saturday, November 16th. Doors open at 6:30 with Program at 7:11
    • Location: Bavarian Bierhaus 
    • A Royal Event for Past, Present and Future Royalty of ALL Clubs! We are honoring ALL Prinz’s, Prinzessins, and Kinder Prinz’s and Prinzessins in a grand party! Dress up in your former Prinz Hut & Feathers, Crown & Sash, and re-live the glory days to help us celebrate the 55 year historical event! OPEN TO THE PUBLIC~ $5 Donation/PP, Free for Reigning Prinzenpaaren! Join us for FUN and see HOW Karneval is opened for the SEASON!

Other German Culture Events​​​​​​

  • Dank Milwaukee's Oktoberfest
    • Saturday, October 12th, 2019, 7pm
    • Located: Four Points Sheraton at 5311 South Howell Avenue
    • The doors will open at 7:00 with music for dancing at 7:30 by the Blaskaelle Milwaukee! During a band break, the DANK Folk Dancers will perform. There will be door prizes, gift raffles, and a 50/50 raffle. Admission is $10, Students under 18 are $5 and active military with ID are free. No Carry-ins allowed! Come and celebrate the anniversary of the royal event when Kronprinz Ludwig married Prinzessin Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen in Theresienwiese, Munich on Oct. 12, 1810!
  • Milwaukee Damenchor - 30th Anniversary Concert 
    • Sunday, October 13th, Doors open 2pm, Concert begins at 3pm
    • Located: Schwabenhof
    • Tickets are $10.00 at the door
    • ​Special guests will be the Civic Broadway Singers under Abby Lorenz. After the concert music will be provided by the Wunderbars for your dancing pleasure. 
  • Klub Oesterreich 38th Annual Wine Fest
    • ​Sunday, October 20. Doors open at 1pm. The program begins at 2pm.
    • Located: Schwabenhof
    • Authentic Austrian Volksmusik, Elegant Viennese songs & good humor sing and dance along. Desserts and Coffee to enjoy also. Tickets can be purchased at the door on the day of the event. Tickets are $10.
  • United Donauschwaben Holiday Frauen Bazaar
    • Sunday, November 3. 11 AM Mass
    • Location: Schwabenhof
    • Join the UDoM Frauengruppe as they host their annual “Holiday Bazaar.” Come early for mass or stop in for a delicious homemade lunch of Schnitzel or Goulash beginning at noon. Start your holiday shopping early by browsing the rummage and craft sale including a gently-used dirndl sale, fun jewelry, children’s toys, games and used books. Pick up a tasty treat at the bake sale featuring assorted homemade desserts. As always, card players are welcome! Admission and parking are free and open to the public. Gather your friends and family and attend this great event!

  • United Donauschwaben at the Holiday Folk Fair International 
    • Friday, November 22 - Sunday, November 24
    • Location: State Fair Expo Center
    • Holiday Folk Fair International, America's premier multicultural festival and a program of the International Institute of Wisconsin, celebrates the cultural heritage of the people living in southeastern Wisconsin. This event allows Fair-goers the opportunity to learn the ways in which various cultures approach music, food, dance, arts, and crafts. The United Donauschwaben of Milwaukee is a long-time supporter of Holiday Folk Fair, and each year boasts a popular food booth and over 30 performances from our three dance groups throughout the weekend.

  • Krampusnacht
    • Thursday, December 5th, Time 4pm to 10pm
    • Location: Bavarian Bierhaus
    • ​December 5...a brisk winter night...the bells ringing, the chains rattling...Have you been naughty or nice? The KRAMPUS will know! Milwaukee Krampusnacht is excited to return to the Bavarian Bierhaus! Our celebration is pure fun and no holiday stress. It's a creepy-cool good time that features amazingly talented local vendors, live music, great food and drink, a Kid's Krampus Hour, and the American Science & Surplus Milwaukee Krampusnacht Parade! We'll also have a toy drive for Toys for Tots again this year. 
    • A new group called Milwaukee Krampus Eigenheit has been formed for costumed performers. They hold meetings and appear at events throughout the Krampus Season and are a great resource if you want to join in. 
  • United Donauschwaben's Christmas Party

    • Location: Schwabenhof
    • Frohe Weihnachten! Come and celebrate the most wonderful time of the year among friends and family at our UDoM Christmas Party. Come early for mass, stay for a delicious lunch, and enjoy our childrens' program as they sing your favorite German Christmas songs. Maybe, if you're lucky, jolly old Saint Nick will come and give good boys and girls a gift!

  • Chicago Prinz Karneval Grad Karneval - Maskenball
    • ​​Saturday, February 23, 2020. Doors open at 6:11pm and the event starts at 7:11pm until 1 in the morning!
    • Location: White Eagle Ballroom, in Niles, IL
    • J​oin us for Karneval’s most celebrated event. Throw on a costume and join us for a vacation-themed evening filled with excitement, entertainment, and craziness only the Germans know how to bring to Karneval. Music by Paloma Band / Zydeco Voodoo. Food and drink: German Pork Schwenkbraten Buffet for an additional $15 only with tickets purchased in advance, full bar and non-alcoholic bar
  • Chicago Prinz Karneval Rosenmontag (ROSE MONDAY)

    • The party doesn’t end with the Maskenball. Another fun-filled evening awaits around the corner with a night filled with a variety of live entertainment. Witness top performances by the Rheinischer Verein’s Fanfaren and Amazonen. Full food and drink menu available to purchase
