  • Continental Showcase with Bob Ziebenbein on Joy 1340am
    • First Saturday of the month. Rheinischer Verein has a radio spot from 1:45–2:00 p.m. Let your friends know and enjoy some nice music!

  • Maskenball 
    • Date: Saturday, Feb 22, 2020 
    • Location: Bavarian Beirhaus
    • $10 admission for all except reigning Prinzenpaar​. Children 12 and under are free. Students with a school ID are $5. Military members are free with ID. 
      • Reserve a table for 8 for $70 ~ includes admission for all eight! Bring paper or phone receipt. 
    • Doors open at 6pm, music by Alpine Blast starts at 7pm. Special performances by the Muller Fasching Verein, and the SMZ Fanfahrenzug. There will be a kid's corner with activities. 50/50 raffle. Come dress up in costume and you could win one of three cash prizes!

  • Kehraus
    • Date: Saturday, Feb 29, 2020
    • Location: Bavarian Bierhaus in the King Room
    • $5 admission for all except reigning Prinzenpaar
    • The funeral procession of the spirit of Karneval. It is the end of the Karneval season where activities are laid to rest. You won't be crying at this funeral. Jokes are told and if you laugh, you have to donate money. Doors open at 6, music starts at 7pm. Special performance by the Muller Fasching Verein. 
  • German Fest 2020!
    • Friday - Sunday, July 24, 25, and 26, 2020
    • 40 Year Tradition!
    • Contact us to see how you can volunteer for this epic event that you won't want to miss! If you are a college student, you can even be entered into a scholarship drawing! Plus you get free parking, free admission, and food vouchers for the day you volunteer!
      • ​Those over 21 can help serve Beer and Wine at several bars throughout the fest.  
      • Volunteer in the Culture Tent where you can help educate the different cultures throughout Germany and the various Milwaukee German clubs
      • Volunteer with the Entertainment Office where you can either chill in the AC in the office or meet and drive some bands from one stage to another.

  • Chicago Rheinischer Verein Rosenmontag
    • Monday, February 17th at 6:11pm
    • Location: Dovetail Brewery
    • Details: The party doesn’t end with the Maskenball. Another fun-filled evening awaits around the corner with a night filled with a variety of live entertainment by Phenix. Witness top performances by the Rheinischer Verein’s Fanfaren and Amazonen. Full food and drink menu available to purchase. Admission is $20 at the door. 
  • Fat Tuesday by Jerry's Old Town

    • Location: Jerry's Old Town
    • Details: Come out for food, and laughs as we celebrate the end of Fasching and welcome the warm weather to come. Special performance by the Milwaukee Mullers
  • ​Spielmanzug's Lumpenball
    • Saturday, March 7th
    • Location: Schwabenhof
    • Doors open at 6pm, music starts at 7pm. Music by The Alpine Blast. Clothes are tattered and torn. Pockets are empty. Prizes awarded for best dressed Hobo. 
  • Lindenwood Community Center Benefit
    • ​Friday, April 3rd
    • Location: Circle B Recreation Hall at 6261 Highway 60, Cedarburg
    • Doors open at 5:30pm. Dinner served from 6 to 7pm. Dinner includes baked fish, beef tips, baked chicken, and oven-roasted pork roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, spaetzle, corn, green beans, 7 Layersalad, fruit, pasta salad, cucumber salad, raw veggies and dip, rolls, butter, coffee, and milk. Homemade desserts are extra

    • Dinner tickets are$20 for adults, Children 4 to 12 are $8

  • Group Trivia Hosted by UDoM
    • ​Saturday, April 4th
    • Location: Schwabenhof
    • Join this great night of fun, friendship, and trivia! See our Registration form on our website: https://bit.ly/30jOa8w 
    • 5pm Registration/Table set-up begins. 6pm Trivia Game Starts
      • Feel free to bring your own table snacks. NO alcohol carry-ins.
    • How does it work? $100 per Team entry (Up to 10 people) OR $15 per single individual. Entry includes FREE pitcher of beer or soda (1 pitcher for every 4 players on a team)
    • Compete in a 2 half, 9 round game of trivia. Large gift baskets awarded for top 3 teams! Prize for best team table decor (BE CREATIVE!) Prizes for all players! 50/50 Raffle! Proceeds from this event will go toward costumes, travel expenses, and group needs for the UDoM Kinder and Kultur groups. We are very fortunate to have a wonderful group of members who enjoy sharing the Donauschwaben culture with the public through dance, song and German language.

  • DANK Milwaukee's Fruehlingsfest
    • ​Saturday, April 18th
    • Location: Schwabenhof
    • Doors open at4:30m. The evening will begin with a short concert performance at 5:30pm by the DANK Chor and the Schwaben Maennerchor followed by music for dancing by Edelweiss. The DANK Folk Dancers will perform during a band break. There will be door prizes, gift raffle, and a 50-50 raffle. Food, coffee, and desserts will be available for purchase. THis is an indoor event.
    • Admission is $10. Students under 18 are $5. Active military with ID are free. DANK Members are $5.

  • Spielmanzug's Bockbierfest
    • Saturday, April 25th
    • Location: Hart Park Pavillion ​7300 W. Chestnut Street, Wauwatosa
    • Doors open at 5pm, Music by The Freistadt Alte Kameraden Band. Come eat, drink, dance and have fun!

    • Saturday, May 9th
    • Location: Schwabenhof
    • The Jugendgruppe cordially invites you to their traditional spring dance! Our youth dancers wear their best formal wear and deliver an elegant performance after crowning the new May Prince and Princess. Cocktail attire suggested.
    • Doors open at 5pm, Dinner at 6pm. Dinner will consist of Schnitzel, Hungarian Bratwurst, Potatoes and Gravy, Coleslaw, Bread and Butter, and Homemade Desserts. The Jugend will perform at 7:15, Music by Alpine Blast will start at 7:45pm.

    • Sunday, June 28th from noon to 5:30pm
    • ​Location: Mequon's Rotary Park at 4100 W Highland Rd
    • "Pomeranian Day" a festival of Norther German Heritage. Alte Kameraden Band, Pommersche Tanzdeel Freistadt, Polka Joel Kiekhaefer. Handicap accessible. Genealogy research, ethnic food and drink, cultural exhibits, and a gift store.

  • Chicago German-American Oktoberfest
    • ​September 11th, 12th, and 13th
      • Friday, September 11 from 5pm to 11pm. Opening ceremony at 8pm
      • Saturday, September 12 from Noon to 11pm. Parade at 2pm. 
      • Sunday, September 13 from Noon to 10pm. German Mass Service starts at 11am. 
    • Free admission. German hospitality in two large tents. Good food, beer, and wine served every day. Three bands playing for your entertainment.
