- It is the end of the Karneval season when activities are laid to rest. You won't be crying at this funeral. Jokes are told and if you laugh, you have to donate money. Please wear black.

Other German Cultural Events

GAS's A Night of Gemuetlichkeit
- Friday, March 6, 2026
- Location: Elks Lodge on Good Hope Rd
- It’s that time of the year! Join the German-American Societies of Wisconsin for our second annual "A Night of Gemütlichkeit"!
- This year’s program includes an update on the state of the societies by G.A.S. President Phil Fritsche, the reintroduction of our 2025 German-American ambassadors Allyson and David Kletz, and honoring our German-American of the year Heiner Giese.
- Tickets can be purchased for the entire event, including admission for the fish fry buffet served at 6:30, or for the program only starting at 7:30. Buffet tickets are available for purchase through February 28th, while the program only tickets can be purchased through the day of the event, pending availability. The purchase of any ticket includes a buy-one-get-one beer coupon to use during the event. The public restaurant will be open if guests with a program only ticket would prefer to purchase dinner on their own. Our event will have open seating.
- Guests can also support G.A.S. by participating in a 50/50 raffle, and a cash bar will be available throughout the evening.
UDOM Schwabenball

- Doors open at 6pm. Food available for purchase. Music by Alpine Blast at 6:30pm. Performances by the UDOM Dance Groups. 50/50 and Basket Drawings.
- Admission: $15/non-members. $10/UDOM members. 12 & under free
